The Serengeti in Tanzania. Serengeti from the Masai word meaning endless plain is just that. A vast plain stretching over hundreds of square kilometers. The Serengeti National Park plays host to what has become known as the greatest show on earth. This is the largest migration of wildlife in the world. Throughout the year this natural spectacle plays itself out in the beautiful natural arena of the Serengeti. Conducted by the rains that fall and the endless search for food, more than a million wildebeest and zebra traverse the endless plain and are followed by the predators that prey upon them.
